Architect
Star Consultants is seeking a Architect to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. Star Consultants is a well-established and successful Architectural/Engineering firm established in 1997. Star provides services to a broad range of public and private sector clients. The professional staff consists of architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and construction professionals.
The ideal candidate will oversee the entire construction project life cycle. You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team and conduct client meetings
- Design construction documents and project management
- Act as point of contact for all technical issues
Requirements:
- RA License preferred.
- 5 Years Minimum of Architectural Design experience required.
- Proven experience working on projects for Public entities.
- Fluency in AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to perform QA/QC reviews
- In-depth knowledge to conduct constructability reviews
- Familiarity with current State of Ohio design processes.
- Knowledge of current OH codes
- Construction Administration Experience is a plus

- Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting design for commercial building applications.
- Knowledge in cost estimating
- Knowledge in specification writing
- Fluency in AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with current State of Ohio design processes.
- Experience in consulting engineering field (Electrical System Design and Project Management)
