With nearly a decade and a half of management experience, Star Consultants, Inc. (Star) has completed a wide variety of projects serving in roles including Construction Manager, General Contractor, Design-Build Lead, and Owner’s Representative. These construction management (CM) services have been provided for both the public and private sector clients. The projects built range from minor renovations to multimillion-dollar facilities. In the area of Design-Build services, Star has served as the lead designer, the lead builder and in both capacities on select projects. Project types developed by the Star CM team include corporate/office facilities, K-12 and higher education projects, warehouse and storage facilities, and places of worship.
With its corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, Star’s CM services focus is on the Central Ohio area. However, with a portfolio of projects that have been completed throughout the state, Star will serve client needs whenever geographically responsible.
Beyond its capacity of a full scale CM, Star has provided a litany of construction support services including project management, program management, project tracking, on-site owner representative (full-time or “as needed”), inspection services, mapping and field verification, permitting, “due diligence”, zoning and entitlement services. Star has also supplied owner’s with construction assistance for site development and “build to suite” projects.
Star’s architectural and engineering (A&E) roots have impacted its development as an atypical contractor. With a nearly quarter century of professional practice, Star is deeply established in the A&E industry. This history has instilled the company with the philosophy of listening, learning, and providing responsive solutions to meet every client’s needs.
