Camp Ravenna Sustain Drop Zone

The Drop Zone is leased from the Army National Guard and the Air Force is responsible for maintaining it to its original condition. The use of the drop zone over the years has broken down the natural surface water drainage system which needs to be restored. This will require the regrading and seeding of most of the 338 acres and restoring the natural ditches throughout the area. In addition the driveways and culverts need to be repaired to support the equipment used to retrieve the loads that are dropped. Amount of rejuvenated vehicle Driveways is approximately 3.25 miles using gravel as the material of choice.

Starís tasks were 1.) Restore grading and drainage to prior conditions 2.) To sustain existing vehicle driveways repair/ install culverts to restore natural pathways of the water drainage system.
